Snowed in

SNOWWWWWWWW! Well, That is what we were all yelling around 10 pm on Sunday night. By midnight we had discovered we would have a snow day (Monday). So naturally out came the coloring books and movie #1 (27 Dresses).

Monday morning it looked beautiful outside and we were excited for our real life snow day! There was actually more than a few inches on the ground and we could play in it.Valerie and I ventured out for a while but it was turning to ice and we were discussing having another snow day (Tuesday). It was also funny to watch others attempt to sled and drive around (some stupidly driving too fast and sliding). When we came in from our little walk we discovered we were in for snow day #2. We celebrated a little because it allowed us to put off what we wanted to do yesterday to do today (clean, prepare for class, etc..).  So, what do we do. How I Met Your Mother on repeat. No  movies this night we settled for Nerts and watching the National Championship (and some girly stuff)

Tuesday morning consisted of sleeping in and waking up to discover we would have snow day #3 (Wednesday).   I wasn't so happy about this announcement. I have cabin fever! The thought of another day in the apartment was not appealing. Yes, I love my roommates but I have been out of Athens for a month and I miss seeing people. I'm actually ready for classes to start (never said that before). Today we watched The Ugly Truth and then Ansley and I ventured out for a walk. We went into the woods because it reminded us of Narnia and we decided to order food. Turns out they weren't delivering so Val and Ans took a trip up the road to get food. We watched It Takes Two and are now preparing for Glee. We are hoping the sun comes out tomorrow so we can venture somewhere.....like the mall? I also need groceries. I can't go many more days eating junk food. I won't survive!

So summary of this post. I wanted a snow day...DAY...one day not snow DAYS. Although the idea of it seems awesome the fact that I haven't been able to move my car for 3 days is getting old. I need interaction with people. I still love snow, and it's been fun I can only be lazy for so long.
