When I saw today's topic I instantly thought/started singing "I believe in a thing called love.."
I also believe that everyone has a purpose and that true love is out there for everyone. I don't believe in love at first sight (its infatuation at this point) and that you can't fall out of love with someone.
Bigger than these things I believe in GOD. I believe that God sent his son to die on a cross to forgive me from my sins and nothing I do can break me from his love. God exists and loves everyone unconditionally even those that don't love him in return.
Some things that remind me everyday that God is real. How can you look at a sunrise/sunset and not be in awe of the beautiful sight...or even sit on the beach and take in the sounds, smells and never ending scenery and not know that God is there and He created that image. Every snowflake is different and I believe (like us) they were individually hand crafted and are beautiful.
I have grown up in a Christian home surrounded by family and friends who also believe. I have gone to the same church since I was born (the same church my parents attended) and I am so blessed to have such influences in my life. Knowing that I will never be alone and always have someone to turn to in a time of need is the reassurance I need to keep going strong from day to day. I have been blessed my whole life and I don't see this changing because I put all my trust in Him. I don't have to worry about what my future holds and I can be knowledgeable of the fact that I am saved by the grace of God.
Later in the 30 day challenge I will mention my favorite Bible verse so I will leave this post with the chorus of my (one of my) favorite hymns through the years.
"Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives, All fear is gone.
Because I know He holds the future,
And life is worth the living just because He lives."
I love that song! At my old church, we used to join hands and sing it before the service ended. We can sing it together sometime <3
