"Practically Perfect in Every Way": 30 Day Challenge:: Day 5

My sibling:
I only have 1 sibling, a younger brother, Seth. He is 17 years old (will be 18 in January, ahhh i can't believe that).
It started on a cold January night (early morning?) when I was told to wake up because I had to go to my Nanny's because mom was going to have a brother or a sister...my response "mommy I don't want you to have anymore baby dolls" especially not a boy. I wanted to take him back to get a girl... but that didn't last long I wouldn't trade Seth for a girl and I definitely am glad mom decided to have another baby because my life would have never been the same.
Seth and I have always gotten along. Its strange really because thats not the case for most brothers and sisters. I don't think we have ever had a real fight, ever. I hear stories of people who don't get along with their siblings and I just don't understand. That was never an option in my house. I call him "little brother" on the phone, in person, no matter where I am really and my friends think this is funny. But thats really how I am.
For a while (after I moved to Athens) it was really hard for me to be away from him because he is such an important part of my life but I have gotten used to it now and I call him whenever I want to talk to him.
Even though he is younger than me he is definitely protective of me. He makes sure I am safe and he warns me if he thinks I'm doing something stupid.
I can't believe he will be starting college next fall. I am very proud of him no matter what he does! We joke that he is the baby so he is the favorite and he says that I'm the favorite. Its a fun joke between the two of us. We have a lot in common so conversation comes easy between us. We don't cheer for the same football team which sometimes causes trouble but its a lot of fun. I don't mind his team (Bama) as long as they aren't playing us.
